Arno Nel CA (SA) RA joined the C2M team as a Director in 2007. In 2012 Arno completed the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Management Development Programme from UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership, with distinction. With a qualified B-BBEE auditor, C2M will ensure expert advice on B-BBEE compliance.

What is B-BBEE?

Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment is an integration programme launched by the South African government to increase the number of black (and other previously disadvantaged) people who own and manage businesses in South-Africa. B-BBEE compliance is not a legislative requirement unless your entity is listed on the JSE. The policies are set out in the BBBEE Act (No. 53 0f 2003). However, obtaining a B-BBEE certificate can bring with several benefits like:
